Our Quality Training Commitment to you

Open Channel is committed to providing quality training.

We are guided by the following rules:

  • All tutors are practising industry professionals who impart their craft in a creative, flexible and supportive way.
  • Class sizes in practical subjects are kept small to ensure students receive effective tuition and full involvement.
  • The use of all equipment in courses or training films (such as cameras, edit suites and lights) is included in course fees. An additional equipment bond (optional) is available to limit liability on equipment or facilities damage.
  • Feedback is collected from every course and the evaluation is used to continually improve services
  • Open Channel is underpinned by the principles of access and equity. Open Channel does not tolerate discrimination on the basis of age, gender, sexuality, social or cultural background.
