Certificate III in Media

New to screen (film and television) production? Interested in making or working in drama, documentary, commercials or television?

Our Certificate III in Media program is for you. For people with little or no previous experience, our aim is to get you skilled up and into the industry. Production placements will give you experience of working in a production or post-production environment.

Look what some of our graduates have achieved.

Open Channel students receive a wide range of benefits while enrolled, and you can read about them here.

An accreditation option is also available as an add-on to many courses in our short course program, where as a short course graduate you can become formally recognised for the new skills you have learned as part of a Certificate III in Media.

Accreditation Option on Short Courses

What if I have completed an Open Channel course previously?

If you have completed a course at Open Channel in previous years, you may be able to enroll in the Accreditation option without needing to reenroll in the course, which means you would just complete the placement and assessment.
