Vivien"I did the complete continuity course with Open Channel in November 08. Although it only ran for a weekend it gave a great overview of the things you need to worry about as a script supervisor. Over the next year i worked on a whole range of voluntary and professional short films, I kept all my notes from the course and discovered how useful they were as i encountered different problems. In November 09 i got a call from Open Channel that a feature film shooting in country Victoria was looking for a script supervisor, this was two days before the shoot. I decided to have a go. It's been really hard work, but fantastic experience. I definately appreciate the skills that you need to work as a script supervisor after working on this feature, and Open Channel has been great in helping me learn some of them along the way."

“Enjoyed tutor's experience and going through the job she did on Romulus, My Father. Learnt how to organise and be on top. Got great info on crossing the line, and the job’s relationship with rest of crew.”

“Great material, knowledge and experience of tutor and ability of tutor to encompass the scope and scale of the concepts then bring in very specific detail.”
