Taught by leading screen practitioners, this ten-week program is designed for filmmakers in the process of creating a script for a longform dramatic program intended for theatrical or television release. Learn how to edit scripts, and how to use feedback from editors, in this extended case study of a project in development across a number of drafts.

The program combines class time with an online learning component and provides core skills needed for creative development of your project.

Learn how to bring together and work collaboratively with your core creative team, and use case studies to learn how to develop a script for the screen, including skills such as:

  • Planning development - learn how to develop a script to a professional level
  • Script editing techniques
  • Using Feedback in development
  • Live script readings as a development tool
  • Script editing process using short form documents

This is an intensely collaborative workshop where you will receive constructive criticism from the facilitator, and from your classmates.
