This course focuses on the role of the Reality TV Producer/Director. It covers a range of genres from Observational Documentaries through to American style Reality TV. You will cover everything you need to know from initial research and development, to protecting your ideas. The course covers who to talk to in the industry and how to network. It also covers how to develop and produce your own project.

Paul has been working in the professional television production industry for over ten years. Formally trained, Paul's work experience with drama series Blue Heelers turned into ongoing employment with Channel Seven for 6 years. Paul worked overseas for a number of years with Sky Television on big outdoor events such as World Cup Football, English Premier League football and the Winter olympics, before returning to Australia to work in outside broadcast and television, covering many sporting events such as the AFL and the Australian Open tennis, and work as CCU (Camera Control Unit) technical supporter on Deal or No Deal.
Rohan is a technical director for Channel Seven, and has worked on shows such as Blue Heelers, Newlyweds, and Marshall Law.
