Want to begin editing with Premiere Pro?

This comprehensive workshop is an exercise-based course covering basic editing procedures and the many features of Premiere Pro, the editing package that comes with Adobe Creative Suite 5. Gain an overall understanding of the principles and strategies for non-linear editing and learn about the basic features of the program including:

• Setting up a project
• Capturing media
• Basic picture editing
• Basic sound editing
• Codecs
• Special techniques like titles, credit rolls, layers, filters, image effects, transitions

A maximum of five participants ensures you one-on-one tutoring.

Who should do this course?
This course is designed for beginners wanting to learn how to operate a non-linear editing system, specifically the Adobe Premiere Pro. You will walk away with the knowledge and skills to be able to start editing straight away.

Where can I go after this course?
Graduates can apply their skills to their own productions. Subject to demand, Open Channel can offer intermediate and advanced training in Premiere Pro.
