Taught by leading screen practitioners, this six-week program is designed for screen practitioners in the process of creating a script for a longform dramatic program designed for theatrical release or broadcast television distribution. The program combines class time with an online learning component and provides core skills needed for creative development of your project.
Participants learn how to develop your creative package and pitch, and pitch to industry professionals through
- Development of pitch tools and pitching skills
- Supporting materials such as flyers, teaser scenes, concept art, previz, bibles
- Pitch to industry professionals and using feedback
The group study is delivered as a series of collaborative workshops where you will receive feedback from the facilitator and your classmates.
Successful completion of the course can provide credit toward our full development-focused qualification program.

Writers, Producers or Directors wishing to develop a greater understanding of the business aspects of screen production.
Where can I go after this course?
Graduates will develop the skills and knowledge required to develop a longform screen project as an independent script reader or script editor or as a member of a creative team.
