This creative weekend course introduces budding filmmakers to the "need to know" processes of digital "Music Video" filmmaking on a shoe string budget. The course takes you through the basics of planning and shooting a Music Video and allows you to perform every role on set.
You will learn:
- Phases of production
- Crew roles and responsibilities
- Interpreting and preparing a music video storyboard for shooting
- Camera, lighting and sound fundamentals
- Directing musicians, actors and crew
- Final Cut Pro (editing) basics
Please bring your own portable pen drive so you can save your project and take it home.

Nick has been making films for twenty years. He has worked under all kinds of production circumstances, from DIY guerilla to one hundred person crews and trailers everywhere. Over the years, he has fulfilled many different roles on set and worked in every department. Nick is also an award-winning short film maker, a sought-after editor and was a programmer for the Melbourne International Film Festival for several years.
