OPENAccess
OPENAccess is Open Channel's production assistance scheme. It supports the development and production of innovative works across the spectrum of screen-based media.
What Does OPENAccess Support?
- video - short film, documentary, community service announcement, showreels and presentations
- mobile - works for mobile devices, short narratives, animation, interactive content
- web - innovative narratives and online documentaries integrating video
- multi-screen projections - installation, audio-visual performance, VJ collaborations with traditional filmmakers, moving image works for theatre, dance, circus, etc
- collaboration across screen-based mediums
- digital content production that stimulates and encourages the development of new works across all sectors of the community, particularly those that address disadvantage.
OPENAccess provides subsidies of 30% - 50% off standard rates for facilities and equipment hire.
Subsidies are not available for training and production support, consumables and labour costs.
