& Television Institute (Perth)
The FTI exists to support and initiate a diverse and informed screen culture
in Western Australia and to promote production by independent screen artists
for the benefit and relevance of the wider screen industry.
Media
Resource Centre (Adelaide)
The MRC provides early-mid career film and digital makers with affordable
access to production equipment, subsidy programs, professional development
seminars and a consultation service covering all aspects of development
and production. In addition, the MRC manages the Mercury Cinema, delivering
a comprehensive exhibition program to build and diversify audiences and
to provide an exhibition outlet for local practitioners.
Wide Angle Tasmania (Hobart)
Wide Angle Tasmania's aim is to create a vibrant and growing screen culture by nurturing emerging Tasmanian talent, bringing people together in a community to create and produce projects. Wide Angle Tasmania promotes local Tasmanian work, helping in the creation, production and screening of projects.
OPEN CHANNEL
(Melbourne)
OPEN CHANNEL creates opportunities and partnerships in film, video and
new media. OPEN CHANNEL supports the development of innovative film and
new media production through a range of programs which provide a development
pathway for emerging independent film and new media practitioners.
Metro
Screen (Sydney)
Metro services include equipment and facilities hire, a script assessment
and producer advisory service, production subsidy schemes and a members’
production group. Metro also runs industry seminar programs, short courses
and accredited training for entry-level filmmakers and industry professionals
wishing to update their skills.
QPIX
(Brisbane)
QPIX provides a range of production support and key development services,
including seminars and workshops, a practitioner advisory service, a crew-link
service and an equipment and facilities access service. QPIX also manages
Mediaspace, a laboratory designed to foster the development of skills
in digital media and to encourage the convergence of digital practice
with more traditional screen media.
