Matthew-HolmesMatthew Holmes is an award-winning filmmaker who has been working in the film and advertising industry for 15 years.

He has deep passion for filmmaking and a firm grasp of cinematic storytelling. With a diverse range of skills including screenwriting, producing, photography, editing, storyboarding, sculpture and stop-motion animation. Matthew is a director who is at the forefront of every aspect of his productions.

Matthew founded Two Tone Pictures in 2005. His directorial feature debut was ‘Twin Rivers‘ (2007), a highly ambitious period drama that he self-financed and produced over a 6 years. It has gone to receive critical acclaim, participation in several film festivals plus national DVD distribition and regular screenings on FOXTEL’S Ovation Channel.

Matthew also directed the indie feature comedy ‘The Biscuit Effect‘ (2005) and the spin-off web series ‘Crooked‘ (2009).

He is now in development of another feature film ‘Territorial‘, an Australian adventure-thriller, being produced by Odin’s Eye Entertainment, Paradigm and Wolf Creek Pictures.

Matthew has several feature screenplays in development, including the companion films to ‘The Legend of Ben Hall”. He has also adapted Colin Thiele’s children’s novel ‘Blue Fin‘ into a screenplay.

He also has the supernatural thriller ‘The Artifice‘ and an epic reimagining of the classic Greek mytholgy ‘Jason and the Argonauts‘ in the works.
