Glenn-MaynardGlenn Maynard is a naturally gifted comedic and dramatic Aboriginal Actor with a wealth of experience in Film, Theatre and TV. His body of work has enabled him to work with many great Directors, who have become recidivist users of Maynardʼs services.

Maynardʼs screen credits include: Bill Merchant (Editor of Erinsborough Press – Neighbours), Chief Delaney (Californian Police Chief – Wilfred), Nookie in Michael Rymers 2010 feature ʻFace To Faceʼ , Warren in ʻChocolate Strawberry Vanillaʼ (2013), Navy Seal Captain in ʻTurkey Shoot Reloadedʼ with Dominic Purcell (2014) as well as supplying the voices for several characters in the series of Cybersmart animations (2014).

Of note, Maynard has also secured a lead role in Albert Pyunʼs (The Sword and the Sorcerer, Cyborg, Kickboxer 2) upcoming feature; ʻCyborg: End of Daysʼ and the lead role in Addison Heathʼs new film; ʻBubblegum: A Detective Storyʼ. Both filming in 2015.

Maynard has performed at the Melbourne Arts Centre in the 2013 season of ʻBarassiʼ and in 2014 played the part of Albert in the MTC production of ʻThe Visitorsʼ. Currently, he is touring the Australian adaptation of Cathy Ploudeʼs, ʻYou The Manʼ, a one-man show tackling the issues of domestic violence, sexual assault and the bystanderʼs responsibilities. In November 2014, Maynard toured ʻYou The Manʼ to UK with performances in England and Scotland.

In 2014, Glenn Maynard won several awards for his performance as Warren in Chocolate Strawberry Vanilla, including: ʻBest Actorʼ Maverick Movie Awards, ʻBest Actorʼ Melbourne Underground Film Festival and
ʻBest use of Nudityʼ PollyGrind (Las Vegas).

Glenn is professional, personable and punctual. He always washes his hands before preparing food and after visits to the toilet.
