"My first film was a short movie that I produced with hopes of using it to generate interest in a feature length screenplay for a separate project. I quickly learned that filmmaking is not an easy task and requires patience, professionalism, communication skills and a solid outline of clear goals for any given project to be completed as efficiently as possible."
- Nicole A. (Yahoo! Movies Contributor)
The first step is often the hardest part of any journey. This is certainly true of making films. How do you know you're ready? How do you take that first step? And who do you need to help you make sure your first step isn't your last?
In this, the final Framed session for 2010, Open Channel Executive Producer Marc Gracie brings together a panel of talented young filmmakers including Writer/Director (and TropFest finalist) Matt Peek (Score, The Grey Cloud, Too Far), Producer Angela Lee (Hard Rubbish, WTF - With Tim Ferguson), Director Hayden Gregory (Sanctuary Park - awarded Best of Raw Nerve 2009) and documentary filmmaker William Head (Night Fare, We Are Illuminated).
