FRAMED #07: Industry Pathways - From Community to Free-to-Air TV
Community television has long been known to provide the viewing public with local and far more diverse programming than would be found elsewhere. In recent years, community television has become an essential training ground for new talent that free-to-air, public and commercial broadcasters have since inducted into their own programming.
FRAMED #07 looks at the very successful pathway process from C31 to the free-to-air TV from both the perspective of the broadcaster and the commissioning agent. It will bring into sharp focus the value of the community television sector to both the culture of screen content and the professional development of presenters and producers of television.
