FRAMED at the Castlemaine Documentary Film Festival: Q&A with Geoffrey Smith and John Flaus
Featuring an international programme spanning almost 100 years of cinema, the Castlemaine Documentary Film Festival showcased a series of fascinating worlds populated by even more fascinating characters.
Including masterpieces rarely seen in Australia, selected films represented storytelling at its finest and underlined the myriad of ways in which documentary connects so intimately with an audience.
Opening night featured a screening of the Emmy-award winning film, The English Surgeon, followed by a Q&A with the films Director, Geoffrey Smith and film legend and Castlemaine local, John Flaus, presented by Open Channel with the support of Film Victoria.
