Find your pathway / Find your place / Find Your Voice
The Generation Next: Screen Creators’ Conference is for the next generation of screen creators. You might just be getting started or you might already have taken your first steps. Either way, this conference is for you. The programme is designed to help you Find Your Voice in whatever way you choose to tell your stories.
The programme is made up of full conference sessions, smaller panel discussions, provocations, talks and presentations, hypotheticals, roundtables, industry demonstrations and opportunities to interact with industry representatives and, of course, to meet and network with each other.
There is no one way to engage with the programme; how you navigate your way through the two days is up to you and what you’re looking for. However, as a guide, some sessions are designated Find Your Pathway (sessions more suited to current students or screen creators with very little experience) and others are designated Find Your Place (sessions more suited to recent graduates or screen creators who’ve got a few runs on the board). There are also extended morning and afternoon tea breaks to allow you to network and to take advantage of meeting industry reps who are keen to meet and talk with you about where you see your career path taking you.
Above all, though, the programme is about helping you Find Your Voice so that you leave better equipped to create your screen stories and more resilient as you establish yourself in an ever changing environment.
