Claire Merquita has worked as a writer, producer and educator in the media and broadcast industries for the last seven years.
Originally based in Singapore, her work has appeared on television, film, corporate video and collateral, audio tours and the local press. In 2010 she started her own company writing scripts for documentary, drama and stage. She lectured in scriptwriting and media for two years at Lasalle College of the Arts in their Broadcast, Animation and Video Art divisions.
In Melbourne, she joined crowdfunding platform Pozible and eventually became General Manager, handling PR, Community and Partnerships while overseeing a small, vibrant team. She recently joined CG Spectrum College of Digital Art & Animation as Marketing Manager, mainly for the opportunity to label her video games as “research materials”.
