Amanda HiggsSince joining Matchbox Pictures in 2015, Amanda has produced the mini-series adaptation of Christos Tsiolkas’ novel Barracuda. And recently finished filming Seven Types of Ambiguity, a six part adaptation of Elliot Perlman’s book, starring Hugo Weaving, Xavier Samuel, Alex Dimitriades and Susie Porter.

Amanda co-created and produced the first three series of The Secret Life of Us. It was the most watched Australian series in its target demographic of 16-39 year olds. And in 2004 won the Silver Logie for Most Outstanding Drama Series for the third year running.

Amanda has also script edited The Slap and Executive Produced SLiDE for Fox8. And co-created and produced two seasons of The Time of Our Lives for ABC.

In 2007 Amanda was EP at ABC-TV Drama, and Acting Head of Drama in 2009.
