Dustin Clare




Dustin-ClareDustin Clare is a Logie Award winning Actor. He graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2004.

As a Producer and writer for “Fighting Chance Films” Dustin has been apart of three successful and international award winning independent short films Cane Cutter (2008), Early Checkout (2009), Kanowna (2010) and The Fragments (2014). Screening at such festivals as: Palm Springs Shortfest, Calgary International Film Festival, St. Kilda Film Festival, Flickerfest, Byron Bay International Film Festival, Canada Film Festival, Cyprus International Film Festival and many more festivals internationally and at home.

Dustin was executive producer on the documentary feature film In Bob We Trust (2013) directed by Lynn-Maree Milburn that premiered at The Melbourne International Film Festival 2013 and Associate Producer on the Australian feature Love is Now (2014).

Sunday (2014) marks Dustin’s debut feature as a writer and producer. Sunday had its Australian Premiere at the Byron Bay International Film Festival (2015) where it was nominated for “Best Narrative Feature”, and will have its international premiere at the Female Eye Film Festival in Canada (2015).

In a world first, Sunday opened in New Zealand on Sunday December 7th 2014 simultaneously across 30+ Cinemas, Television (Rialto Channel), the Internet (iTunes/Vimeo/ReelHouse), DVD and Airlines (Jetstar + Air NZ) creating the largest Multiplatform Release of a film ever. Sunday will release in Australia May 2 simultaneously across Cinemas, SVOD (Stan), VOD (iTunes, Google Play, Dendy Direct, Fetch TV, Sony, Xbox) and DVD in an Australian first.

Dustin was named as one of the Screen Producers of Australia’s “ones to watch” emerging producers of 2015.
