Chris has been working in the entertainment industry for well over a decade, beginning his career in the Animatronics Department of a BBC Live Kids Show. After two Australian tours, and three UK tours, he moved into lighting design for live productions – a job that has taken him around the globe – lighting circuses in Taiwan, casinos in South Africa and Google Launches in New Zealand. Chris has a great love of all things technical – and has worked on a huge range of feature films, video clips, short films and television programs in various technical roles, from post supervisor, to lighting director, to producer. He was previously the Post Production Supervisor at Melbourne’s award-winning editing house The Butchery, and finishing house The Refinery.
Chris currently looks after all things technical at LateNite Films – ensuring that each production makes the use of the best available technology and workflows – and is regarded as one of the top Post Production experts in Melbourne. He is a member of SPAA and the ASSG. He’s also on the committee for the Australian Screen Editors and is an Adobe Community Professional.
