In an acting career edging past its first decade, Spencer McLaren has worked in features, TV and musical theatre. Perhaps best known as Richie Blake in 60+ eps of TVs The Secret Life of Us, he has also appeared in Blue Heelers, City Homicide and McLeod's Daughters.

Less known is his recent work behind the camera as Producer on short film Out of Order(2008) and feature film Surviving Kate, directed by Kate Whitbread and starring Pia Miranda, Holly Valance, Shance Jacobson and Caroline O'Connor.
